Roth is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to our Consumer Team. Our entrepreneurial culture provides Analysts with the opportunity to make significant contributions to engagements with exposure to live deals and on the job learning experience. Investment Banking Analysts are an important part of deal teams, work closely with senior-level bankers, and are responsible for assisting in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions for public and private companies. This in-person role will be in the firm’s Newport Beach, CA office.

Compensation:
$75,000 base +
Semi-annual discretionary bonus
Roth is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to our Consumer Team. Investment Banking Analysts are an important part of deal teams, work closely with senior-level bankers, and are responsible for assisting in the execution of M&A and capital raising transactions for public and private companies. This in-person role will be in the firm’s Newport Beach, CA office.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Build and maintain financial models, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses
- Prepare pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and marketing materials for client and internal use
- Conduct industry, company, and market research to support deal origination and execution
- Support due diligence processes, including data room management and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisors
- Analyze financial statements and public filings to assess company performance and valuation
- Coordinate with senior bankers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding academic credentials with a Bachelor’s Degree in related areas of study including Business, Finance, Economics and/or Accounting
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or full-time) in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field
- Securities Industry Essentials - SIE, Series 79, and 63 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Compensation:
$75,000 base +
